About the book
Educational Psychology is a student friendly, easy to comprehend, pedagogically rich textbook on the subject. It follows an evidence based approach providing suggestions to improve the learning process and outcomes of the students, helping them to understand the varied theoretical aspects of educational psychology, latest research based studies, and their application in education.
Written as per the UG and PG syllabi prescribed by major Indian universities, this text has been organized into twenty-one chapters with numerous illustrative figures and data. Each chapter is aided by multiple choice questions and explanatory review questions.

About the author
Dr. Panch Ramalingam is presently Reader in the UGC - Academic Staff College of thePondicherry University , Puducherry , India . He has a rich 15 years experience in teaching and coordinating orientation and refresher courses along with other programmes related to professional development of teachers in higher education. He is also the Editor of the Journal of the Indian Academy of Applied Psychology, Invited Editor of the Indian Journal of Applied Psychology and Journal of Psychological Researches and an Editorial Advisory member of Gujarat Journal of Psychology and Journal of Disabilities. He is at present the Secretary of Indian School Psychology Association and a member of International School Psychology Association (ISPA).
